Light from Inside Video

Click here or on the image for the video. This is a piece I did while at abc7chicago.com. It was an eye-opening experience, to say the least. I didn't really have all the equipment I would have liked to shoot it-- ABC is no BKJ-- but it sufficed. If you're downtown go check out the exhibit.

THE WALL

He died on the cross, but it wasn't a loss...

This last photo was taken in the room next door to the amazing room with the amazing wall, which we found via a peephole in the Marriott hotel at Brian Johnson's AEJMC video conference. It kept us mesmerized for a good chunk of the conference. Thanks to Brian Johnson and Mike Mount for their contributions to the wall photo shoot.

To see more photos check out Face's blog.

Chitown Tornado

Face and I 'chased' the storm, soaking ourselves and cameras during the video conference. I blurred the pancho shot, but it's priceless. And I'm no Babcock, but I had to illustrate that BKJ is the light in a storm.

Erica: "That's not a tornado siren, those are ambulances." Face: "That's a civil defense alarm, you idiot!" or something to that effect.

Park fun

Beam vs Baum

The Iron and Wine singer showed up at the Pritzer pavilion when Face and his friend and I watched Tortoise during our BKJ Video break. We told him to sport his beard because it was the best beard ever, even better than Josh Birnbuam's. I bet his toes are tanner than Baum's too. Face has better photos at blog.facearron.com.

BKJ Video Extravaganza

Face and Nick and I assisted Brian Johnson (aka BKJ for those not in the know) at a video conference-- an event that headlined the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communications convention at the Marriott Hotel in Chicago. It was an event filled with professors, MacBook Pros, XH A1's, lav mics, tornadoes and a colorful, multi-dimentional wall-- OH MY!
